Dear brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus,
It is indeed my deep joy to welcome everyone to St. Anthony’s Church to have an encounter with the Lord. St. Anthony, the patron saint of our Church inspires and enkindles the passion for God in every heart of His devotees. He is a model for the new evangelization that our church is currently talking about. He is a message and a messenger, who communicates the Love of God through his Intercessions and His miracles. May he continue to help us walk in the foot prints of Christ.
We, the Servite Fathers are serving this parish with zeal and enthusiasm.
We reach out to all with the attitude of simplicity and humility. Our objectives are,the sanctification of its members, preaching the Gospel, and the propagation of devotion to the Mother of God, with special reference to her sorrows. We are dedicated to Mary under her title of Mother of Sorrows. We have adopted Mary’s virtues of hospitality and compassion as the order’s hallmarks.
Our Church has the Italian community but we are open and set to welcome
all those who wish to be part of us. Our parishioners are joyful and dynamic. They commit themselves generously for the welfare of this parish. I acknowledge their service and care for our parish community. Their devoted commitments are remarkable. At this juncture, I extend a cordial welcome to all. Come with your family and friends, to taste and see that the Lord is good.
